Subscription Reports - Schedule VII

(Refer sub-regulations (1) and (3) of the regulation 14)

This tool automates the calculation of monthly subscription reports. As per the regulation, the number of subscribers must be recorded once on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th of the month, between 19:00 HRS and 23:00 HRS. The monthly subscription is the average of these four readings.

B: Subscription Reports for Carriage Fee Calculation

B1: Monthly subscription for channels and bouquets is calculated as per Table-1 and Table-2 above.

B2: The average active subscriber base is calculated below.

Notes from the Regulation:

  1. Each set top box, located at a place indicated by the subscriber for receiving the subscribed broadcasting services from the distributor of television channels, shall constitute one subscriber.
  2. The reports shall be generated in non-editable PDF format, with read only permissions. (This can be achieved by using the "Save as PDF" option in your browser's print dialog).
